As a wedding photographer in Vancouver, BC, engagement sessions are some of my favorite projects to work on. These sessions are a great way for me to get to know the couple, and for them to get comfortable in front of the camera before their big day. We had the pleasure of working with Neeku and Sherwin on their engagement session, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
They wanted to do their engagement session in a place that was significant to them. They chose Eagle Harbor in West Vancouver, a beautiful location that holds a special place in their hearts. It was wonderful to see them so excited to be in this spot, and I could tell right away that the photos were going to be stunning.
They had spent many afternoons here, walking along the shoreline, and enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains and the water, it had been a constant source of joy for them throughout their relationship. These two have such a quirky relationship there were many laughs and smiles from all of us, these two are absolute gems! As a photographer, it was great to capture these special moments and memories for them.
It's always a joy to work with couples like Neeku and Sherwin. Their love for each other was palpable, and their connection was evident in every moment we captured. It's moments like these that make me grateful to be a wedding photographer!
Although their big wedding celebration had to be postponed, Neeku and Sherwin didn't let that stop them from celebrating their love. They chose to have a small ceremony in her parents' backyard during the record breaking heat wave of 2021, and we were honoured to capture those precious moments as well.
